days in ottawa

I am almost halfway through my internship in Ottawa. Working life is enjoyable in Canada so far, and they have a very good work-life balance culture here. People generally get off at 5pm(actually i suspect it's even earlier in some companies because there's traffic jam at 4.30pm already) and IBM here allows people to work from home. There are colleagues in my office who go to the office once to twice per month.

Ottawa is a much more boring place, compared to Montreal, and it's really troublesome to get to any places without a car. The bus frequency is extremely low during off peak hours and the weekends. It comes only once every half an hour. Occasionally, during the weekends, I will go back to Montreal and bid farewell to friends who are leaving Canada. It's really quite strange that everytime I returned to Montreal, I feel at home. haha

And IBM organised a camping trip for the interns. So this is my first time camping in Canada, and it's going to be 4 days long. Hope it will be great.
