Summary: Miami in December is Singapore without the humidity! I really miss going out in the open streets with only tee-shirt, bermuda and slippers. Moreover, the air is dry and I never sweated during the 6 days at Miami!The flight is at 730am, and I had to wake up before 5am. Getting to the airport by taxi is expensive, and it's interesting to note that there are people(who are not taxi drivers) who provide similar transportation services using their own vehicles at a lower price. This is what singaporeans will describe as 'spoiling market'. lol. Anyway, I realised that to travel from Canada to US, the US custom checks is conducted at the Canadian airport.
In Miami, most people including random people on the streets, restaurant owners speak Spanish. This is the first time I heard of the american-spanish accent. Actually I cannot remember how the real spanish accent sounds like.

My first and probably last NBA match. We had no plans for the first day, and we wandered around the downtown area. The match that day was between the hometeam, Miami and Utah, and so all the supporters were Miami's fan. The cheering was totally one-sided. Now i finally understand why the home-team has such a big advantage. Everytime the home-team has the ball, everyone will start screaming and cheering, while it will be silent if the opposiiton has the ball. And it doesn't just apply to the audience. Even the commentators are biased! When someone from the home team scores, the computer screen will show the name of the player and his name will be annouced. Nothing happens if the scorer is from the opposite team. Lol
Another interesting thing I observe is that the streets in US are labelled as 1st street, 2nd street..... 123rd street, NE xxx street, SW yyy street and so it's really convenient for people to roughly know the location and not get lost.
went to key west by a private tour bus, which was a famous attraction 200++km away(3hours) from Miami. actually it was quite disappointing because there's nothing much to do there, and the beach was not as good as the Miami's one.

i really like watching animals performance and I didn't get to see such things when I was a kid. If i ever have kids next time, i will surely bring them to the differents sea aquariums/zoos to watch such stuff.
I learnt that a Liger, (father is lion, mother is tiger) is the largest cat species in the world, but if the father is tiger, and the mother is lion, it's called a tigon and it's a dwarf in comparison. So interesting!
We took a cruise around the small islands, and apparently, the houses on these islands are owned by super rich and famous people like tom cruise and the ceo of a big pharmaceutical company. All these rich bastards!
we also went to this world's erotic art museum, and i uploaded some 'erotic' photos onto my facebook.
we also took a half an hour journey bus ride to go to the nude beach, but all we saw were old couples and old and ugly fat men. what a horrifying experience =s
